About a week ago, two bosom friends engaged in a war of words. Diss records and clap-backs streamed back and forth. Finally both parties rallied their troops to settle this spat once and for all. Stifla Movement and Skinny Gee Movement Squared up to each other at the Lizzy Sports Complex at 4pm GMT.
It was a clear sky when the game kicked off. Both teams went straight for the jugular immediately. Surprisingly there were no bookings despite the number of tackles (because there was no referee!).
Team SM took the lead after a slaloming run from the captain Stifla himself, who beat SGM captain Skinny Gee en route to goal. Offei equalized afterwards after dinking a cute shot over Stanley.
Veteran defender Pochoko ‘El Pupuuta” picked up a knock but after a quick drink he was back to full fitness.
Shaker bossed the midfield, spraying passes like a lawn sprinkler system. He eventually netted one for himself.
Target-man Bolingoli Tafrisky came on at the break and scored with his first touch; the ball cannoned off his belly into the goal. Tafrisky added another; a sumptuous strike into the top corner of the goal.
Team Stifla added 3 quick goals. Using tiki-taka movement they absolutely ripped SGM’s defence to shreds.
Skinny Gee made a string of otherworldy saves to keep his team in the game after SM’s onslaught.
The game went into extra time as both teams strove hard to break the deadlock. Pochoko “El Pupuuta” blazed home a vicious piledriver as the ball fell kindly to him from a hashed clearance.
With the game seemingly won, SGM’s defence was caught napping after another mesmerizing run by Stifla who slotted calmly through the legs of Skinny Gee.
With a stalemate ending the game, it went to penalties. After a flurry of goals and misses both teams agreed to postpone the game (Actually them sack we cos wona money finish.)
Certainly after such an exciting fixture, another game to settle this once an for all would be on the horizon? Stay peeled for more information.
